Te tūnga | The role
This role is a key part of the Collections Service Line in Technology Services at Stats NZ. These teams support the technology systems used to collect data from people and organisations. We use many different technology platforms and framework such as Salesforce, SilverStripe, Blaise, APIs, Azure technologies and all the products needed to keep them secure.
The Service Assurance Consultant works with the security companies and our technology teams, to ensure work is completed, so that we can certify our systems are safe and secure. Being good at wrangling people, diplomacy and keeping track of multiple work streams are critical to being successful in this role.
This role is permanent, based in the Wellington region, and reporting to the Senior Manager Technology.

**You will**:

- Lead Certification and Accreditation process initiation and engagement with business and technical teams.
- Lead risk management engagement, planning with technical teams for remediation work
- Maintain a service catalogue and ensure it is up to date with any changes in the infrastructure
- Communicate security related standards as part of engagement with technical delivery teams.
- Create purchase order and engage procurement for assurance activities with key external delivery partners

You'll contribute to the development work of technology delivery teams, ensuring solutions satisfy strategic and business requirements. You will build strong relationships with the other Service Assurance Consultants, growing the effectiveness of our technical documentation and processes.

You will work collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams, helping us implement our vision. Your passion for learning will be seen through your initiatives to learn new tools and products, keeping ahead of the latest developments, and finding ways to continuously improve current processes and standards.
