You’ll play a vital part in assessing baby’s development at key stages, promoting health and education for children up to five years of age, and supporting caregivers to develop their parenting skills. You will manage a client portfolio and will enjoy building relationships with whānau.

We deliver the Well Child service to a diverse range of whānau. The team work collaboratively and in partnership with whānau to provide care. If you enjoy working in a close and collegial environment, then this role could be for you.

Our work requires nurses who are ready to take action in order to build sustainable and responsive care plans that support holistic health.

The care we provider often requires working with multiple agencies and specialists - social workers, food banks, and other community groups, while it will not be up to you alone to make the difference, you’ll be able to leverage and work with other community support and our Whānau Āwhina services to respond to the needs of our community.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Be a registered Nurse
- Hold eligibility to work in Aotearoa
- Hold or be able to obtain an Annual Practicing Certificate
- Hold a full clean NZ Drivers Licence
- Be committed to completing the Post Graduate Certificate in Well Child Tamariki Ora (we will pay for this)
