**The opportunity**

This New Zealand-owned company is at the forefront of a broad range of branded food products. It has developed a reputation as a leading innovator and manufacturer and currently supplies the NZ and Australian domestic markets.

There is a strong desire for growth through innovation and as a result, there is an increasing emphasis on NPD to enable the company to achieve its objectives.

**Some key responsibilities in the role include**:

- Proven experience and success in NPD, Process development or packaging in a manufacturing environment
- Project delivery through an established stage gate process
- A collaborative approach and superior communication skills, the ability to deal with ambiguity and an insatiable curiosity and desire to learn
- Assist with packaging rollouts/PEAL rollouts
- Lead and assist in NPD trials
- Specification development
- Internal specifications
- Bill of material development/updating
- Nutritional information panel development
- Shelf-life sample management
