We are now looking for a **Category Assistant **to join our new Grocery Wholesale team reporting to our Head of Commercial - New Zealand Grocery Wholesale.

Joining the NZGW team is the perfect opportunity to gain additional portfolio experience. We’re a team who thrive on working collaboratively with our suppliers and internal teams to drive strategies and reach business goals, ensuring we deliver our purpose of making Kiwis lives better everyday.

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
The Grocery Wholesale category offers a new level of complexity and growth. At the heart of this role we focus on putting our customers, team and suppliers first whilst delivering great solutions around our category strategies through procurement, promotions, price and placement - a challenging but rewarding role and one where you’ll really make a difference in the lives of our customers.

Key accountabilities
- Support the Head of Commercial and Category Team with documentation of agreed Trading Terms
- Maintaining our data in information systems (SAP & DATA) and ensuring all promotions are accurately updated
- Manage queries from customers and suppliers on behalf of Category Managers
- Preparing internal stakeholder updates and communications
- Maintaining and updating buying/merchandising policies, procedures guides and other relevant documented materials

**About You | Mōu
To succeed in this role you’ll be highly collaborative, a natural problem solver and have great attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel and SAP is essential. You’ll be highly accurate in everything that you do, be well organised and have the willingness to learn something new as we navigate the Grocery Wholesale space.
