**The Role**

We have various permanent opportunities available for Cable Jointers to join our team in Christchurch, NZ. Successful applicants will need to be flexible and willing to travel for work on occasion.

**Key responsibilities will include, but not limited**:

- Working with a diverse range of contracts to deliver HV/LV work, installations and maintenance of network substations and underground assets.
- The jointing will consist of HV(11KV)/LV XLPE/PILCA jointing along with the occasional live LV jointing and termination work.
- Exposure to other trades to gain new skills and certifications for progressional opportunities.

**Conditions**
- 40hr working week
- Shared company vehicle for commute to site.
- Flexibility for occasional working away from home (includes LAHA)
- Carpooling to work sites with crew members in company vehicles
- Working on sites such as substations, steel mills and infrastructure projects.

**Qualifications**
- New Zealand Certificate in Electricity Supply (CABLE JOINTER HIGH VOLTAGE)
- Electrical registration from Electrical Workers Registration Board
- White Card
- Driver’s License
- Excavator Ticket (Desirable)
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of electrical theory and electrical testing
