Biotissues Processing Technician

We are currently recruiting a Biotissues Process Technician to work at our MPI and ISO approved laboratory in Ashburton on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Biotissues Production Supervisor, this is a hands-on production role that is responsible for harvesting, handling and processing bovine materials used in a range of medical implants for human use. You will also be responsible for preparing chemicals, performing some QA testing, and completing hygiene and cleaning processes. This is a varied and challenging role in an exciting and growing industry.

Ideally, our successful applicant will have the following:

- Previous experience in a laboratory or similar manufacturing setting
- Good attention to detail, numeracy, and ability to follow SOPs
- The ability to manage and complete tasks and accurately complete all required paperwork
- Excellent time management skills
- The ability to work consistently both independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Ideally, previous experience in beef slaughter operations
