**Summary**

The Supervisor / Manager of a Chipmunks Playland is a positive, proactive, multi-tasking extraordinaire. Responsible for the day to day operations of the business; the supervisor / manager plays a hands on role to ensure that our customers have a brilliant time in our centre, our staff are working effectively in a positive environment whilst also working closely with the franchisee to maintain a profitable and well run operation. Experience in a leadership position is a plus but not a must, as long as you are reliable and willing to learn.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ( other duties may be assigned)**

**Managing a Fantastic Team**
- Manage day to day responsibilities of full time, part time and casual Team Members.
- Assist the Franchise Owner to recruit and hire new Team Members.
- Conduct interviews with applicants and complete required documentation.
- Complete full induction of new Team Members according to franchise guide lines and documentation.
- Control staffing budgets.
- Manage weekly and long range forecast rosters when required.
- Assist with the planning and preparation of work schedules and assign Team Members -to specific duties and tasks - completed on a daily basis.
- Supervise Team Members engaged in the various roles as outlined in the ‘Team
- Member’ Job Description (Form 201) and is able to perform these tasks themselves, as needed.
- Ensure compliance of Team Members with established security, sales, safety and staffing procedures and practices.
- Lead Team Member meetings on a regular basis.
- Schedule and follow through with training for Team Members.
- Monitor the personal presentation and attitudes of Team Members.

**Centre Operations**
- Maintain a high level of customer service standards.
- Handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Manage escalation of complaints to HQ or Franchise Owner.
- Deliver a memorable birthday party experience.
- Ensure café orders are being delivered in an acceptable time to a high quality.
- Ensure the kitchen is operating efficiently to meet orders.
- Make sure certain stock supplies, especially food, are received and stored correctly.
- Delegate and ensure the housekeeping duties are shared fairly i.e. cleaning amenities, vacuuming floors, keeping stock rooms tidy etc.
- Know how to use all aspects of the POS system and to train and retrain new and existing Team Members.
- Input orders from suppliers in the retail system and price merchandise.
- Know and ensure that the opening and closing procedures of the centre are implemented daily.
- Encourage and maintain a high standard of cleanliness, services and vision for Chipmunks.
- Complete all daily and weekly cleaning and operational procedures.
- Manage party schedules and ensure party hosts are well prepared.

**Bookkeeping and Budgets**
- Count money from tills and reconcile daily - provide the Franchise Owner with information on variation.
- Deposit money into the safe.
- Complete all daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Control use of expenses i.e. phones, electricity, office supplies etc.
- Complete banking procedures.

**Marketing**
- Communicate with HQ, share ideas and provide feedback on promotions.
- Inform Team Members of upcoming promotions and prepare displays, staff rosters etc. to cater for the promotion.
- Supervise the rotation of merchandise and food displays and menus.

**Salary**: Up to $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
