InterGroup are New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, delivering services in waste management, industrial and coatings and infrastructure. The role of the Supervisor is to undertake and supervise vacuum loading equipment, projects, hydro blasting equipment safely, to specification and to client satisfaction. This will be achieved through supervision of staff, pro-actively participating as a team member in a team environment and assisting, where required with the allocation of suitable resources to achieve this purpose.

You would need a few years' supervisory experience under your belt. The Supervisor may be presented with different sets of complexities (e.g. issues on high pressure water jetting operations, team management, equipment failure, etc.), requiring flexibility to manage situations or issues that may be of a technical, safety, or environmental nature. An understanding of personal responsibilities, obligations and operating within the delegated authority of the Supervisors is expected.

The technical stuff you need includes
- Min. of 3 years infrastructure experience (Drain flushing, Vacuum Loading
or Hydroexcavation)
- Relevant experience in the safe use of equipment.
- Class 2 NZ driver license
- Current First Aid Certificate is desirable
- Basic project management knowledge
- Computer training - knowledge and skills
