**Job Description** Summerset Avonhead is looking for an exceptional Caregiver to join the team on a casual contract basis**

At Summerset we are here to bring the best of life to our residents. To do this, we know we need to take care of our people to form a team who are strong enough to care, operate as one team, and strive to do their best.

This is a busy and diverse role, assisting residents with their day-to-day activities such as showering, delivering meals and much more. Therefore, you will need to be resilient, kind and patient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in personal care.

**_ This is a casual contract on a if and when required basis._**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing personal care to residents under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse
- Working as part of a team to support creating an enjoyable and safe home for residents

**Qualifications**
You will be a passionate & qualified Caregiver with genuine compassion for all kinds of people from all walks of life. To be a successful you will bring:

- have experience in aged care and or have a qualification relevant to the role.
- have genuine compassion for all kinds of people from all walks of life.
- be a team player and be able to manage your time well in order to complete all your tasks.
- be available to work on a rotating shift pattern (including mornings, afternoon and weekends).

- An enthusiastic and supportive team that is fun to be part of
- $25.39-$29.95 per hour based on your experience and or qualifications
- Weekend rates of an additional **40 percent** of the hourly rate
- We offer career progression and support for those looking to develop their skills further in the aged care industry.
