**The Role**

As the Accounts Payable officer, you will be part of a Finance Team - this is an ideal role if you are feeling stagnant in your Accounts Payable position, you are wanting more of a challenge and enjoy problem solving and reconciliations. Your duties will include:
**Duties**
- Accurately code supplier invoices for processing, working with the financial accountant when necessary.
- Reconciliation of all invoice supplier accounts to the supplier statements, following up invoices outside current payment terms.
- Preparation of payment proposals, ensuring suppliers are paid within terms (or as agreed by management).
- Review Vendor Aging Reports, identifying and rectifying any issues.
- Resolution of supplier queries in a manner that is prompt, courteous and efficient.
- Coding and allocation of freight invoices, ensuring internal controls and processes are followed.
- Reconciliation of Hire Equipment accounts ensuring equipment movements are reported accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that all suppliers documentation is filed in an accurate and orderly manner.
- Support the wider team with ad hoc tasks.
