**Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 negotiable on experience + superannuation**

**Te tūnga | The role**

This role is permanent based in Wellington. Reporting to Technology Delivery Manager your focus is to provide expertise across functional and automation testing. Your will be working in a collaborative team environment with people from other disciplines.

In this role you will:

- Engage with our business to understand their needs and requirements, providing analysis and insights accordingly
- Conduct both manual and automated tests as appropriate to ensure the solution meets the business needs and achieves business outcomes
- Lead the development and maintenance of automation of repeatable processes and activities contributing to an improved experience for our users
- Mentor and coach others in the team to enable them to take a test lead role on or medium complexity solutions
- Provide direct support for our users to ensure the solutions they require are fully functional and provide the required experience
- Monitor solution against performance and user sentiment to identify trends or improvement opportunities, identify solutions, and work with your team to implement
- Provide support and ongoing optimisation of solutions already in production

- In-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, eg JMeter Postman, SoapUI
- Quality control and quality assurances approaches
- Experienced in Scripting languages (e.g.PowerShell and Python)
- Any experience using Azure DevOps and CI/CD
- Test Driven Development and Business Driven Development
- Business Analysis skills to understand the problem and the business need
- Security monitoring and reporting
- Ability to pick up new technologies quickly
- Security minded
- Working in an agile team environment, with a DevOps mindset
- At least 3 years industry experience
- University degree
