On their behalf, I am delighted to present this exciting Graduate opportunity to market. We are searching for a recent Business/Commerce graduate, eager to put their studies into practice with an absolute powerhouse New Zealand business.

**About the role**:

- Providing support to the Category Manager
- Analysis and reporting
- Reviewing and understanding industry and global trends
- Monitoring and analysing key competitor activity
- Developing promotional plans with the Category Manager and Suppliers
- Assisting with the range review process
- Managing an individual category, having full ownership of the category plan and execution
- Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships both internally and externally

**About you**:

- You are a Business, Commerce and/or Marketing graduate seeing a genuine, long term opportunity to make your mark in a major New Zealand company
- You are systems savvy and highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel - exposure to pivot tables and v-look-ups is essential
- You are analytical by nature, and enjoy working with numbers
- You are a positive individual with a warm and friendly personality - above all, you love building long-term, loyal relationships with suppliers and team members alike
- You are a confident and assured personality with the ability to effectively present information
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to pick up on new information with ease
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot and manage changing priorities
