**About this role**
You will be part of the TWoA Legal team reporting to and mentored by the Legal Counsel. You will provide general legal management services/advice covering a wide range of practice areas including Commercial, Privacy, Education, IP, Compliance, IT (SaaS, Licensing), Property and Procurement.
No two days will be alike.
**About you**
- Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) along with a current practising certificate
- Ideally 1-4 years PQE
- Exposure to a wide variety of legal disciplines
- Excellent research skills and sound judgement
- Exceptional relationship building abilities
- A team player who enjoys working and contributing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Developing commercial acumen together with excellent negotiation skills
- The ability to deliver expert legal advice confidently
- The ability to problem-solve, take initiative and deal with a fast-changing environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- A pragmatic, solutions-based approach
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
