As Tapi expands its offering and scales globally, the product team plays a crucial role in Tapi’s success. The Product Owner acts as the glue that sits between our Product Managers & Engineering teams, helping us deliver customer and business value at speed. They own the later-stages of a product life-cycle (development, delivery, go-to-market, in-life management and exit) working closely with Engineering, Sales and Customer Success, to build and launch products and ensure product success.

Success is measured by delivery against our product plan, management of team velocity, and product success metrics (particularly NPS and engagement).

**What you’ll do**
- Take the lead of scrums - providing vision and direction to the agile development team. Drive sprint planning, stand-ups, refinement and retros.
- Turn the product vision into a meticulously groomed backlog of well scoped user stories. Break work down into features, ensuring product value is represented in each feature.
- Write features and stories and define acceptance criteria and definition of done (including measures for acceptance criteria and definition of done)
- Work with stakeholders (technical leads, product managers, other business units and third parties) to ensure their input into the design of the features and stories that enhance the core products.
- Use your prioritisation skills to make the right call on what needs to be addressed when and how to deliver value early and often - with approaches such as a minimum viable product and incremental enhancements. Own ongoing backlog grooming and refinement.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements and differences between customer types. Be the voice of the customer to the development team.
- Scope, estimate and contribute to technical implementation. Manage team velocity and advise on team capacity requirements.
- Motivate and work across different teams to ensure requirements are met. Run point between Product Managers and the Development team to agree scope of development and delivery against the vision.
- Provide visibility and communicate upcoming work and releases to the business. Showcase both development and release of new features and functionality as well as being able to showcase the overall product to colleagues, partners and customers.
- Support the preparation of go-to-market activity for product launches working closely with Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure they have information and support to ensure product success.

- Understand customer and business benefits and able to articulate these and quantify benefits through various methods including revenue growth, cost saving, customer satisfaction
- Metrics focused. You work with Data to ensure its use for prioritisation and making decisions to improve product performance and success.
- Exceptional communicator. You listen intently to customers and colleagues. You’re able to provide direction and simplify complex information through written and verbal communication.
- Strong organisation skills - juggling high volumes of activity through planning, priorisation, and delivery with relentless follow-up
