Due to an increase in service demand we are seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Te Whatu Ora - Hawke’s Bay Facilities Projects Team on a permanent basis.
You will be involved in coordinating facilities projects and will engage with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop the most cost effective and practical solutions within budget while retaining good buy-in. Implementation of health & safety processes and sustainable planning will be integrated into work programmes and your expertise will be used to develop the most cost effective and practical solutions.
We are looking for someone with five or more years on the job project work experience in the buildings and services, commercial construction, engineering or similar technical industry. Ideally you will have the desire to develop;
- Your project management skills through on job and provided training e.g. Prince2
- Into a leadership position in our multidiscipline engineering and construction team.
Your qualifications will be based in Engineering, Architectural and/or Construction diploma level qualifications or equivalent. Qualifications and/or certification in Project Management would be ideal. You will be a quick learner with excellent computer skills, including Microsoft products and CAD.
This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic construction or engineering project coordinator, looking to develop multi discipline engineering and construction skills with progression towards a Project Management role.
The salary for this role is $75,265 and $88,547
