We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity available within our dayshift Sawmill team. Our sawmill teams are responsible for processing logs havestred from across Southland and Otago into rough sawn boards of timber for further processing at our Remanufacturing Plant, and local and export customers. Our sawmill utilizes world class innovations and specialized software to ensure the best recovery of every log.

Our dayshift Sawmill team are a close knit crew who support each other to meet production targets The team are looking for a superstar to join them as they look to set new daily production targets together.

The responsibilities of this role will include operating machinery and equipment, quality control, repetitive labour based duties and maintaining a clean and safe work space.

This vacancy will include regular rotations around the sawmill ensuring variety to your shift as well as full exposure to our operations (which can lead to further career opportunities).
- Experience in a similar environment is valued but not required, as full training will be provided for the successful applicant._

The base hours of employment are Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30am, Friday 6:00am - 12noon, with overtime as required. (Overtime rates paid for all hours worked after 40).
