Due to continued growth, they are looking for experienced Power Technicians to assist with the maintenance and repairs of hydro generation assets in Twizel.

**The Role**:
You will be part of the team that executes the scheduled maintenance plan, responds to faults and emergencies and supports minor maintenance projects. As a Power Technician, you are on the frontline of the maintenance delivery and fault response capability where your skills and knowledge ensure work is undertaken safely, accurately and on time.

**About You**:

- EWRB registered
- Experienced in the testing and commissioning of modern generator electrical digital protection systems (e.g. Beckwith, SEL or similar)
- Have experience testing HV generators and transformers, CT’s and VT’s (IR, Tan Delta, winding resistance, ratios, bushings, Buchholz relays etc.)
- A basic understanding of Governors and AVR’s for maintenance purposes and basic fault finding
- Personable with excellent communication skills and a great eye for detail
