You will be responsible for planning and carrying out the installation of Fibre Optic. Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders are paramount. Sound technical knowledge and commitment to quality work practices and our Health and Safety protocols are also essential.

***Key responsibilities include**:

- Fibre Splicing/Blowing.
- Scoping with customers about lead in Path and installing and Joining Cabling for Telecommunication Services.
- Programming and Configuring SLID (Subscriber Line ID) and ONT (OPTICAL Network Terminal) and Running
- speed tests over Fibre.
- Locating Network Faults using instruments and measuring Equipment's.
- Civil work including trenching, concrete cutting, hauling of cables and overhead work.
- Hard and Soft reinstatement.
- Maintain Health and Safety Standards, Quality Assurance and Good work environment.
- Taking DB loss readings at all splitter points and terminated ends.
- Fibre installation BUDI, OFDC, FTP and J Box on residential/commercial property.
- Planning, Organising Materials, updating records and carrying out maintenance in the network.
- Use of technical equipment.
- Ability to read telecommunication network framing diagrams, plans and terminologies.
- Modem/router/Wi-Fi installation and configuration and troubleshooting.
- Integrating existing legacy wiring
- Installation of network equipment.
- Capable of using hand and power tools.

***Requirements**
- Good Driving Skills and Must hold a valid Full License.
- Clean Police Record.
- First Aid Certificate.
- You will have a permanent role with a minimum of 32 hours per week guaranteed (Monday to Friday and Occasionally Saturday).
