Are you a looking to start your career in a busy hotel kitchen? Can you think on your feet, work efficiently as a team and contribute towards our success with a can do attitude? Then this Part-time Kitchen Hand role is for you

**_ This is a casual role paying $25 per hour._**

**Responsibilities include**
- Wash and clean utensils and dishes, and make sure they are stored appropriately
- Handle, sort, store and distribute food items
- Wash, peel, chop, cut and cook foodstuffs, and help prepare salads and desserts
- Sort and dispose of rubbish and recycling
- Organise laundering of kitchen linen
- Clean food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas.
- Follow and enforce strict health and hygiene standards
- Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
- Display the company values of We Care, We Do the right Thing and We Work Together in all that you do

**Requirements**:
**_ We are seeking a new team member with a great attitude_**_,_**_ in addition to that, the following skills will see you succeed in this role._**
- Enjoy practical work
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Able to work quickly and safely with mínimal supervision
- Good personal hygiene
- Free from skin allergies to foods and detergents
- Able to lift heavy pots etc
- Good communication skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to work as part of a team
