**Job description**

We are looking for a multiple Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team to assist chefs in cooking and maintain our kitchen standards.

**Key Responsibilities will include-**
- Cutting and chopping vegetables
- Assist chef in cooking as required
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
- Load and unload dishwashing machines
- Wash specific items by hand
- Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
- Set up workstations before meal prep begins
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary
- Remove garbage regularly
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.

**Minimum 30 Hours per week**

**Requirements-**
- Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings
- No experience is required for this role.

**Salary**: $24.50 - $28.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Christchurch: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
