Are you looking to step into the world of fundraising and grow your career? We are seeking a collaborative and energetic Community and Events Fundraising Specialist to join our Fundraising Team on a full time permanent basis.

**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

The Community and Events Fundraising Specialist is a key role within the Fundraising Team, responsible for the growth of community fundraising revenue. You’ll grow and encourage supporter retention, and assist in making it easy for people to increase or continue donations; while also assisting the Partnerships Team with staff engagement activities.

With a focus on excellent communication, you’ll be our point of contact for all community events and peer to peer fundraising activity, using targeted marketing strategies to create engaging and inspiring donor experiences.

Our ideal applicant will feel passionate about fundraising and is a good listener with excellent communication skills. You’ll be analytical with strong attention to detail and the confidence to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be a driven self-starter who is excited by the idea of being involved with creating, growing and delivering new and existing opportunities across our fundraising portfolio.

**You will also have**:

- Strong organisational skills;
- Confidence working with Microsoft Office;
- The ability to generate reports and analyse and interpret data to create growth;
- Current full NZ driver’s license.
