Paving Foreperson

The Higgins Green Team in Christchurch have an awesome opportunity for a hands on Paving Foreperson to join and help lead the Paving Crew.

Reporting to the Surfacing Manager, you’ll be a strong all rounder with the ability to jump on the machines and plant as well as managing a team, taking the lead and setting the guys up to complete the jobs as required to the high standard that Higgins is known to deliver.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Experience in leading and motivating a team
- Experience working within the Civil Construction Industry
- Reliable, honest team player who leads from the front
- Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in road maintenance
- Class 4 Drivers Licence with WTR endorsements
- Ability to work with crews and foster a winning culture
- Strong focus on health and safety not only for yourself, your colleagues but also the public
