Seeking a qualified teacher, or teacher aide to assist a young person (9-years old) who has special needs, with their literacy and maths.

This young person has enormous potential, but due to a physical disability, has been disadvantaged with his learning, so is developmentally delayed. We are seeking a teaching superstar to help this young person catch up to his peers and excel in his learning and communication.

Seeking a self-starter, you will be part of supportive multi-disciplinary team, of parents, teachers, therapists, literacy provider, Talklink, IXL and a care team. The role can be performed during school hours at school 9am-12noon and after-hours at home 3pm-5pm.

The student is a young person with tremendous abilities, who is very engaging and a delight to be around. Start date January 2023. Central city location. Up to 25 hours available.

A great home school teacher is someone who is:

- Excited and passionate about education
- High-energy and willing to work with real-world examples to demonstrate learning concepts
- Up-to-date on the latest technology and able to use technology effectively
- A clear communicator who can identify problem areas and offer different styles of instruction to meet the individual needs of a student
- Able to display tact and understanding when communicating with students and parents
