**Job Description**:
AECOM’s market leading Energy business is looking for an experienced electrical engineer who has a passion for technical excellence and enjoys delivering a diverse portfolio of energy projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be actively involved in an innovative and motivated team of energy professionals delivering industrial, generation, solar, wind and energy storage projects throughout NZ, Australia and internationally.

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for

+ Concept and Detailed Design for NZ and Australian clients

+ Drafting design reports

+ Assisting with the preparation of proposals

+ Managing medium-large scale projects

+ Mentoring junior team members

+ Interfacing with clients on projects and new opportunities

+ Providing technical expertise in accordance with project time, quality and cost objectives

+ Compiling budget estimates and pricing schedules

+ Opportunities for secondments to other parts of ANZ to AECOM, client or site offices

**Qualifications**:
**Furthermore, you will be able to demonstrate**:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in engineering

+ Significant engineering consulting experience (10 years’ post graduate experience is considered the minimum for the role with not less than 5 years working in the energy sector)

+ Power generation experience on large industrial electrical installations focussing on 11kV and under.

+ Experience with electrical modelling software would be advantageous.
