Hamilton, New Zealand GZ GROUP CONSTRUCTION LIMITED Full time

**Work Location**: Our main base is in Hamilton, but this position also involves work sites across Auckland, Napier, Tauranga, and Whangarei.
**Hourly Rate**: $28.18-$35/hour, depending on your experience.
**Hours/Week**: 30-50 hours/week, depending on seasons and projects.

**About Our Company**:
We are **GZ Group**, headquartered in Hamilton, with projects in Auckland, Napier, Tauranga, and Whangarei. Our expertise spans multiple services, including bricklaying, block laying, tiling, painting, and vinyl flooring projects. Due to staff turnover, we are now seeking **painters** to join our growing and dynamic team.

**What You Will Do**:

- Preparing surfaces to be painted, including cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Selecting and mixing paints to match desired colors and finishes.
- Ensuring proper protection of surrounding surfaces during painting.
- Maintaining painting tools and equipment to ensure they are in good condition.
- Following safety procedures and regulations on job sites.

**Requirements**:

- At least one year of experience in painting or construction is preferred.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work on ladders or scaffolding.
- Patience and precision in completing tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
