Based in the stunning cities of Wellington or Christchurch, we are currently seeking experienced Clinical Nurse Specialists to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time role with relocation support available to help you settle into your new life in New Zealand.
As a Family History Assessor, your primary role will be to provide specialist assessment, clinical management advice, surveillance recommendations, and coordination of care for a specific patient and family population at risk of cancer due to inherited gastrointestinal cancer syndromes. This advanced practice role involves ongoing follow-up and clinical oversight of high-risk individuals and families.
To be successful in this role, you must have a clinically based health degree and significant clinical experience working with patients. A genuine interest in supporting families with inherited cancer syndromes is essential, along with the ability to work with scientific data. We also welcome applicants with a clinical Master's degree in a relevant area.
Joining our team means becoming part of the Te Whatu Ora National Bowel Screening Programme strategy. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall successful management of patients referred to our service, making a significant impact on their lives. You will also be part of a 2 year training programme to support with your specialization and work with a highly skilled and passionate team.
