About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Site Foreman to take responsibility and be accountable for the performance of the construction process, ensuring that the project quality, time and cost objectives are met.

The role will involve leading and supporting our team across the whole company. This will involve understanding the overall business, and assisting in developing, implementing and positively reinforcing brand standards.

You will do this by:

- Ensuring effective Health & Safety risk management and audit processes are followed throughout the operations, and that effective training is given on site where needed
- Ensuring profitability by bringing in projects on time and on budget with zero defects and minimised errors or rework
- Establishing site in accordance with project plan
- Monitoring and take action to effectively control and minimise costs and advise management on cost efficiencies re material, manpower and equipment needs by working closely with QS
- Managing the labour required to complete the project within the allotted programme and within budget
- Working with Project Manager and or Site Manager to maintain updated and accurate construction programmes (where applicable)
- Supervising the site to ensure smooth running of the project. In some instances, this will include the supervision of direct labour, contract labour and subcontractors
- Ensuring all paperwork and management systems are in place and operating smoothly
- Ensuring contract variations are carried out efficiently
- Liaising closely with Project Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager to provide quality information in a timely manner
- Maintaining company confidentiality and commercial sensitivity
- Reviewing completion / defects list with PM.

A background in residential construction is preferred.
