Role Overview:
As a Surfacing Foreman, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing surfacing operations within our civil construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Supervision:

- Lead and manage surfacing teams on-site.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and other stakeholders.- Surface Preparation:

- Coordinate surface preparation activities, including grading, levelling, and compacting.
- Monitor material quantities and quality.- Asphalt and Seal Coating:

- Ensure proper curing and finishing techniques.
- Address any issues promptly.- Team Leadership:

- Motivate and guide crew members.
- Foster a positive work environment.
- Provide training and mentorship.- Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and equipment maintenance.
- Prepare reports for project managers.

Qualifications and Experience:
To excel in this role, you should have:

- Proven Experience:
A minimum of a year as a surfacing foreman or similar role in civil construction.
- Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with asphalt, seal coating, and surface preparation techniques.
- Leadership Skills:
Ability to lead and inspire a team.
