**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**
The Content Advisor role is to ensure that content is accurate, current, aligns with digital guidelines and standards, and meets business and user goals. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that customers are front of mind and information is delivered in a timely manner.

You will create and manage content across Auckland Council’s digital solutions. The content includes written copy, data, metadata (SEO), images, captions, video transcripts, hyperlinks, online forms, and documents.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work as member of a cross-functional team to create content that meet business and user goals.
- Actively manage content across the content management lifecycle ensuring it is correct and current.
- Collaborate with publishers & user experience designers ensuring the accuracy and appropriate implementation of content, style, structure, and presentation and ensure content and information architecture supports user journeys
- Build positive, enduring relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their portfolio areas and support their business outcomes.
- Analyse user satisfaction, feedback, and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement. Contribute to the team’s continuous improvement programme.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**
To be successful in this role, you will bring with you experience writing for web/digital content. By being highly collaborative in your approach to working with other functions (including designers, content producers and developers), you will be an effective communicator and promote continuous improvement.

**To be successful in this role, you will display the following**:

- Experience writing for the web/digital content.
- A qualification in writing for the web or similar is preferable.
- Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders at all levels and experience in influencing decision making and negotiation.
- Some experience using Adobe Photoshop preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and large volumes of content changes.

This is a fixed term, maternity cover for 9 months, working 40 hours across Monday to Friday.
