**About the role**

We are currently recruiting for a new Head of Strategy & New Ventures, which at a high level, is a key role responsible for leading the long-term strategic plan of Foodstuff North Island’s vision and goals. As a strategic leader and trusted partner, this role will lead fast-paced and diverse assignments across the organisation and be hands on in delivering projects and making strategies come to life
More specifically, the role is responsible for:
- Developing strategies and plans for the realisation of projects, and their associated benefits
- Establishing credibility as a trusted partner and influencer to the Executive leadership team, FSNI Board and key leaders across the business
- Managing strategic workstreams and standalone strategic projects, including strategic and corporate development investment projects, identification of new business opportunities, Board reporting and general presentations
- Playing a leading role in the coordination and review of the annual strategic plan, ensuring collaboration with the ePMO and making sure it reflects the overall goals and strategic direction of the company
- Leading a culture of high performance, and top communication with key stakeholders, ensuring KPIs in your team are delivered on-time, and in-full
- Inspiring the team to work together to bring their best every day
**About you**
With a passion for FMCG/Grocery and ambition to lead a talented future-focused team, we are looking for someone who is a team player, collaborative, and cross functional in their way of working. The suitable applicant for this role will:
- Have a strong track record in strategic leadership, people management, and the ability to effectively maintain relationships and influence the team, key stakeholders and the senior leadership team
- Be customer driven. Able to dream BIG and bring those dreams to reality
- Proficient excel financial modelling and PowerPoint presentation skills
- Ability to work at a strategic “big picture” level whilst simultaneously maintaining attention to detail
