In this role you’ll be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of Foodstuffs NZ’s carbon reduction strategy and carbon management plans that supports Foodstuffs’ meeting our carbon reduction targets across the businesses. You’ll work across our Co-operatives engaging with key stakeholders to deliver Foodstuffs’ carbon reduction strategy and carbon management plans. You’ll also be tracking all the appropriate metrics relating to carbon emissions to meet current and future reporting requirements, including annual carbon footprinting.

**About you**

You’ll be a natural collaborator with strong facilitation skills. You’ll enjoy managing various stakeholders who have differing demands and needs. You’ll be someone who embraces challenges and has the tenacity to push through when obstacles come your way. Ideally, you’ll have an in-depth understanding of, and interest in, reduction of carbon emissions and carbon management with demonstrated experience of managing carbon within an organisation. You’ll also be comfortable working with data to influence long term investments, projects and best practice.
