We have a full-time position available for a Clinical Unit Administrator within the Acute Surgical services at Tauranga Hospital.
The role involves provision of an effective and efficient administration service to respond effectively to general enquires and maintain good relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff and most importantly, patients. As the role will be based at reception, it requires someone with excellent communication skills, customer service and the ability to work within a team environment.
This is a permanent, full-time position and involves rostered mornings and afternoon shifts.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with excellent phone manner
- The ability to prioritise and work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and high-quality workmanship
- Well-developed computer skills to be able to learn software skills related to surgical services
- A positive and flexible attitude and a sense of humour
- Knowledge of surgical services would be an advantage.
