**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

We are currently seeking a pharmacy technician to help support our motivated team in the Aseptic Production unit at Wellington Hospital. This position involves the compounding and dispensing of cytotoxic and other aseptic products. You will also be involved in the processing of outpatient and inpatient charts, assembling of required vials, bags and consumables in preparation for manufacture and communicating with multi-disciplinary team regarding patient orders

The pharmacy team is well respected by clinicians, nursing staff, and senior management across the organisation, and is constantly looking at ways to improve the service and care it delivers. We provide a comprehensive pharmacy service throughout to the Capital Coast and Hutt Valley District, which includes a clinical service, dispensary & logistics service, and a quality & risk service. There is also an aseptic production service at Capital & Coast Hospitals (Wellington & Kenepuru). Through these services, we aim to improve the quality and effectiveness of prescribing, supply and distribution of medicines throughout the Capital Coast and Hutt Valley District. Our teams value professional growth, and emphasises clinical development and medicines optimisation for our patients.
