**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**
Te Whatu Ora Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley District is looking for an experienced, motivated and friendly person to join the team within our Property & Facilities team providing essential administration support and Helpdesk duties within our hard-working and high-performing team at our Newtown campus. You will be responsible for all aspects of the BEIMS / PULSE Computerised Maintenance Management System, manage and maintain accurate jobs records, processing of invoices and all purchase order systems. Helpdesk duties include facilitation of customer enquiries, provision of Front-of-Whare receptionist services and other administration duties.

The Property & Facilities Unit sits within the Finance, Facilities & Business Services (FFABS) Directorate, led by the Chief Financial Officer. The Property & Facilities team provides the overall asset and facilities management of buildings, plant & equipment, and clinical equipment, either owned or leased by the DHB. The unit includes the following key areas; Support Services, Capital Projects, Technical Services, Clinical Engineering and Business Improvement and Capability Development.

- Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions using own initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet required deadlines.
- Good understanding of building industry terminology and hospital infrastructure.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements & awareness of quality standards.
- Knowledge of accounts payable, invoice processing and budget processes.
- Good level of presentation, communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to work collegially, positively and constructively with clinical managers and service managers at all levels.
- Strong IT skills, i.e. MS Office suite and use of financial systems
A background in finance, construction and or management is preferred but not essential
