**About the Role**

We have an opportunity within our Platforms teams providing support and maintenance of a large enterprise environment. As a Systems Engineer, your role will perform some or all of the following functions as individual assignments or as part of a small team:

- Configure, upgrade and maintain Windows operating systems and services (Windows 2016 and above)
- Day to day management of Windows, and firmware patching
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks or issues, and propose solutions for improvement
- Troubleshooting and fault remediation activities
- Ensure system and security patches are applied to limit cyber vulnerabilities.
- Create, update and amend process documentation, knowledge base articles, and Standard Operating Procedures
- Performing Incident management, Change management, Problem management activities

You are a self-motivated, resourceful and naturally curious individual who uses a creative mind-set to solve problems. You enjoy gaining and sharing information with the team and are able to adapt as needed.
- Administration, support, problem analysis, capacity planning and performance management of MYOB environments
- Ensure everything we do is secure, protecting MYOB and its clients
- Ensure ongoing supportability of environments through documentation and knowledge sharing
- Adhere to all corporate standards in particular, ITIL & PCI-DSS to ensure compliance
- High level understanding of networking and infrastructure technologies
- Participation on on-call rotation
