The Social Workers Registration Board (SWRB) / Kāhui Whakamana Tauwhiro has a new, exciting, and challenging opportunity for aSenior Advisor - Regulatory Operations & Implementationto join our team in Wellington. This role will work on a range of operational projects that support SWRB to deliver to Government as a modern regulator, and lead agency for social worker workforce planning.

You will be an integral part of a small closeknit team and organisation.

This is a parttime fixed term role for 12 months, working 20 hours per week. It would be a great option for someone who is looking for work-life balance alongside satisfying work and career development. This is an opportunity to be part of something different, that uses your policy skills and experience of undertaking bespoke research projects, combines your love of uncovering something new or different along with seeing the policies through to implementation.

You will be delivering operational policy as well as offering guidance and practical support in respect of implementation across the regulatory, education and Workforce Planning work programmes.

The Social Workers Registration Board / Kāhui Whakamana Tauwhiro is a Crown Entity which is Aotearoa's social worker regulator and lead agency for social worker workforce planning.

It protects the safety of members of the public by ensuring social workers are competent and safe to practise and are accountable for the way in which they practise. It also enhances social workers' professional practice and provides insight into the opportunities and challenges facing the social worker workforce.
