**Job Description**:
We are thrilled to announce that we are expanding our team here in Auckland due to a robust pipeline of work and a multitude of exciting projects and opportunities across the ANZ regions. The primary focus of this role is to undertake CAD work for civil infrastructure projects, particularly in the transportation sector. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of drawing production and CAD management, including drawing and drawing number set up, general CAD coordination with the wider project delivery team, managing allocated budgets and timelines for assigned tasks, and managing and supervising civil design and drafting activities for a project or team. Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD and other drafting software, as well as expertise in civil engineering principles and practices, is a prerequisite for this role.

The Civil CAD Lead will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are achieved, timelines are adhered to, and quality standards are upheld.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare drawings and reference models in AutoCAD, and experience with Revizto and Navisworks is also desirable.
- Deliver accurate and timely CAD drawings to meet agreed deadlines and adhere to industry and project standards, while following instructions, assigned tasks, or the project plan.
- Contribute to a comprehensive and integrated set of CAD drawings by working collaboratively with team members or design contributors.
- Identify areas for improvement to enhance our service to clients.
- Take personal responsibility and ownership for delivering tasks.
- Be responsible for self-checking and verifying drawing production to ensure the delivery of high-quality project documentation.
- Contribute to client satisfaction by being responsive, timely, and effective in all deliverables and communication.
- Provide guidance and support to the drafting team on drafting standards, software usage, and design principles.
- Conduct quality control checks on design and drafting work to ensure accuracy and adherence to established standards.
- Work with project managers to develop and maintain project budgets, track costs, and manage project resources effectively.
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress, issues, and risks related to design and drafting activities.
- Collaborate with other design disciplines and departments to ensure project goals are achieved
