Telecommunication Technician

**Pyramid Services Limited** is looking to hire telecommunication technicians for a permanent role in the Bay of Plenty region, who will also be required to travel within the region to perform the following duties:

- Managing Copper/Fiber testing and splicing.
- Troubleshooting and maintenance support.
- Responsible for planning, developing, designing and installing fibre/copper/ONT/WiFi/Ethernet and relevant telecommunication equipment connections to telephone exchanges, homes, buildings, offices and domestic premises.
- Installation, configuration and security of modem/router/ONT/Wi-Fi.
- Perform build, laying and jointing of telecommunication cables.
- Managing data and voice structured cabling.
- Provide Q&A activities on team installation (taking photos of all jobs).
- Carry out daily general administration & documentation duties related to tasks.
- Maintain Health & Safety at all times.
- Provide high-level customer services and maintain work quality standards
- Submit all associated paperwork on time.
- Working on Network/ISP devices such as Modem, and Routers.

**Other important requirements**:

- Six months of relevant work experience or relevant qualification (minimum Level 4).
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Availability to work on weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
