We conduct an annual survey across Auckland that involves handing out and collecting in surveys. We have up to 12 days available in total, with surveying taking place on sunny Saturday and Sundays in Jan, Feb and March 2025.

Start date would likely be Sat 11 Jan. If you aren't available every Saturday and Sunday, we will try to work around that, just let us know your availability in your cover letter, along with how many days work (up to 12) you would ideally want.

Survey hours are 11am-5pm, with travel time being paid on top of this. You'd visit each location for the full six hours to hand out survey cards to all visitors and collect these once they are completed.

Depending on where you live, and the location you are visiting on the day, travel time could be as little as 10 mins or as much as 2 hours We'll agree how long you'll allow for travel time and pay you from when you leave home until you return home after surveying.

We pay $30 per hour + 8% holiday pay + a non-taxable travel allowance to cover your fuel to each location. As above, we pay for your travel time too.

You'll need to have excellent spoken English and be good at following instructions.

We only survey on fine weather days so we may cancel surveying at relatively short notice the night before or in the morning if the weather isn't fine and sunny.

Some years we have one special kind of person doing all 12 days, but generally we have 2-3 people doing a few parks each.
