**About the Role**

We are currently seeking a versatile and experienced logistics expert to take charge of our large fleet based in Hamilton. This is a fast-paced role requiring someone who can make decisions on the go, while ensuring the customer requirements are met.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Scheduling daily work for transport operators to ensure maximum efficiency and follow up to make sure all jobs are completed
- Coordinating drivers to make sure all of our customers are serviced
- Ensuring our team members are in compliance with transport regulations and operating procedures including monitoring and signing off on daily check sheets

**To be successful in this role you need to have**:

- High attention to detail, strong verbal communication skills and a good understanding of operating procedures
- MS office software (Word, Excel)
- Experience in Customer Service in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate self-motivation, and strong time management
- Leadership skills and relevant working knowledge of employee relations and occupational health and safety would be an advantage

We are looking for a confident individual who can juggle multiple tasks and assist our customers in a prompt and professional manner. You will be someone that can work independently and as part of a team, you can think on your feet when the pressure is on and are comfortable working with a varied work force.
