Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatū, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.

**The Opportunity**
Te Whatu Ora MidCentral Emergency Department is an Australasian Level 4 regional trauma centre with approximately 55,000 presentations per annum. It is a mixed ED and is Tier 2 accredited for 24 months of training under the revised Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) training programme. Our ED sees a large volume of trauma and high acuity paediatric and adult medical patient presentations. You can expect regular exposure to numerous critical procedures and a vast range of complex pathology. We have access to excellent accredited non-ED rotations such as Anaesthesia, Paediatric Medicine, General Medicine and Cardiology. We are a close-knit team of FACEMs who are committed to the career development of our registrars and to providing a supportive training environment.**Come and join us**
