We are looking for an experienced Chef for our busy Indian Cuisines in Auckland.
Job Description
Preparation, seasoning and cooking of food
Must check the food quality of raw and cooked dishes
Must be able to cook all authentic Indian curries
Plan food requirements for dressing
Planing menu and pricing of dishes
Estimating food requirements and labour costs on day to day basis
Ordering required kitchen materials and keeping records
Stock taking and reporting it to manager
Storing and labelling food in fridges
Supervise and train other staff in kitchen
Investigate customer complaints regarding cooked food
Able to use temperature controlled cooking equipments
To ensure the kitchen waste is kept minimum
Ensuring personal hygiene and maintain high standards of health and safety at all times

Job type: Full Time
Duration : Permanent
Relevant Experience : Minimum two years
Pay : Minimum $23.50 and maximum $32.00
Hours : Minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week
Willing to work on weekends and Public holidays (Working days will be between Monday and Sunday)
