We are looking for an Operations Manager (Manufacturing) in Auckland.
This is afull time permanent position with a minimum of 30 hours a week.
Overtime willbe provided if available.
We are offering competitive hourly wages of $36 to $40.
Key Job Responsibilities Managing daily food production to meet targets for output, quality, cost,and timeliness. Direct the use of physical resources, including equipment, ingredients, andpackaging materials, to ensure efficient production flow. Control production processes by monitoring output, adjusting workflows,managing labour allocation, and addressing bottlenecks. Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including task allocation, training,performance monitoring, and adherence to operating procedures. Ensure full compliance with food safety standards (FSSAI/HACCP),hygiene protocols, and workplace health and safety regulations. Monitor production costs, material usage, and labour efficiency to optimiseoperations and reduce waste. Coordinate procurement, inventory management, and stock control of rawmaterials, consumables, and packaging to maintain uninterruptedproduction. Oversee quality control to ensure all products meet company standards fortaste, texture, hygiene, and packaging. Maintain accurate production records, reports, schedules, anddocumentation. Liaise with stakeholders, production staff and company stores to meetproduction targets. Implement process improvements, new production methods, andequipment upgrades to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintainproduct quality. Prepare and verify invoices, GRNs, delivery notes, and route plans. Maintain logs for vehicle movement, trip completion, and dispatch reports..
Candidate requirement The applicant must have at least 4 years of relevant experience. Experience in the food manufacturing industry and understanding of foodsafety standards (FSSAI/HACCP)
