We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our client on a 3 months contract basis. This role requires a PM who is equally comfortable operating at the strategic, roadmap level while also driving detailed delivery outcomes.
About the Role: You will take ownership of a key workstream focused on uplift initiatives across frauds and scams prevention. Working closely with senior stakeholders, operational teams, and technology partners, you will shape the roadmap, manage risks and issues, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
This role requires someone who can confidently engage at all levels of the business, prepare high-quality steerco packs, and provide structured documentation including RAID logs, minutes, and status reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a frauds and scams–related initiative across a 3-month engagement.
- Develop and manage the project roadmap, scope, timelines, and delivery plan.
- Facilitate workshops, governance forums, and stakeholder discussions.
- Prepare and present steerco packs, status updates, and executive-level reporting.
- Minute taking and documentation of decisions, actions, and dependencies.
- Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID).
- Work collaboratively across business, operations, risk, technology, and external partners.
- Ensure delivery aligns with regulatory, customer, and operational needs.
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within financial services (banking, insurance, payments, or similar).
- Exposure to frauds, scams, or financial crime initiatives highly advantageous.
- Strong mix of strategic planning and hands-on delivery execution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build clear, concise governance packs and manage senior-level reporting.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident in fast-paced environments.
- Able to start immediately or on short notice.
