We are seeking a Senior Computer Vision & Machine Learning Scientist.“We’d like you to work on our market-leading, patented AI solution, which takes 2 D architecture documents and is able to automatically recognize, count, measure, and specify everything needed to price and build a construction project.

This is an applied role using machine learning techniques, you must be strong at creating algorithms and training models; and tackling tasks such as complex image segmentation, object recognition, feature extraction, and so forth.
We're seeking someone experienced given the big scale and complex nature of our challenge.

Requirements5+ years of development experience in AI, image, or computer vision related use cases.3+ years of commercial experience in a senior or lead role.
Fluent in Python and experience with Pytorch, Tensorflow, or alternatives.
Experience creating novel algorithms, and using existing machine learning techniques for real business use cases, such as YOLO models, Fast R-CNN, Mask R-CNN, transformers, etc.
Deep technical understanding of the methodology and pros/cons of various approaches, algorithms, and deep learning methods.
You take pride in improving the results of your models based on real business use, and assess your work beyond your accuracy metrics and test data sets.
You've worked in a setting involving timelines, task breakdowns, success criteria, backlogs, and feature requirements.
Ideal candidates will also have the following: Masters or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
Interest in approaches such as VAEs, MAEs, diffusion models, self-supervised learning models, etc.
Some experience with AWS, Docker, or similar platforms.
You work in Agile sprints for software-based AI companies who demo and ship releases regularly (weekly, fortnightly); as opposed to AI projects that have longer release cycles that require more R&D.
You enjoy just “getting it done”, and are self-sufficient to make choices on the best approach.
