Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 30 hours / per week, Monday to Sunday), Permanent
Our pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour depending on personal ability
We are a busy bakery shop based in Waipu, Northland.
To enhance our team, we are now looking for 1 Baker  to join our team.
We are expecting someone who has a passion for baking, attention to details, ability to multi-task and be a proactive member of the team.

Ideal candidate should have a relevant qualification or 1 year’s relevant work experience in bakery or Level 4 or higher or any major bachelor degree.
 
Tasks Include:
·      Measure and combine ingredients and raw materials using hands/hand tools and other equipment to make doughs for pies, pastry, bread rolls, and other pastry foods.
·      Make sweet, savory and special ingredient fillings, sources and toppings.
·      Check the quality of the ingredients and the prepared raw materials to make sure quality standard are met
·      Set, adjust and monitor oven and other cookware’s temperatures to ensure proper baking and cooking time
·      Take out the baked pastry from the forms, trays, unloading, de-panning and cooling the finished products
·      Decorate, glaze and adjust the display of the finished products
·      Test the finished products to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality requirements
·      Clean and restock workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
·      Check the cleanliness of equipment and operation of machines before each run, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
