As a team member at Cash Converters, you have the freedom to be who you are. You'll spend the day being creative, using your own talents and uniqueness to help customers find exactly what they want – new and old. Not only will you be creating relationships and providing outstanding customer service, you'll be a part of a fresh and diverse team with success being the goal.

We are seeking full time and part time members You are likely to be rostered on weekends as this is our busiest time but no late nights Working around school hours is also possible.

Working as part of a strong and passionate team you'll receive ongoing coaching and support as well as the opportunity to learn about other parts of a Cashies store and grow your skill set in our diverse business

What you'll do:

Build rapport with customers from all walks of life with your friendly and welcoming approach

Ask discovery questions to provide the right solutions to meet our customer's needs

Drive to meet and exceed your sales targets

Merchandise displays and cabinets using your eye for creativity and flair for something eye catching

Work as a team to achieve maximum results

What you'll need:

  • Previous retail experience is an advantage but not essential
  • An outgoing and friendly personality with the ability to relate to a diverse range of customers.
  • A good work ethic
  • A sales focused attitude and the drive to meet sales targets
  • Ability to be proactive and work to deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • A strong desire to work as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills, accurate data entry and high level of attention to detail

Skills that would be pretty good but not compulsory :

  • Complete geek with electronics/computers/gaming
  • Talented musician ( even if its just your own opinion )
  • Great baker who always bakes too much and brings the leftovers to work....
  • Previous jewellery, watch, luxury assets, pawnbroking  or 2nd hand dealer experience
