About the Role Reporting to our passionate Chief Executive Officer, will redesign and manage the Operations functions, including Tank Assets and Lubricants, establishing a high-performing Regional Hub model.
This pivotal role oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring operational efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and managing projects and channels effectively.
The COO will lead a team consisting of the Head of Logistics and four Regional Operations Managers, driving operational excellence and ensuring consistent, customer-centric service.
You will be responsible for:· Leading the largest function of the business· Driving operational excellence· Embedding our new regional hub model and ensuring success· Maintaining a high customer centric service· Building and maintaining high performing teams and positive team cultures· Ensuring the smooth operations of all day to day delivery· Manage and mitigate risks in collaboration with the GM People, Safety, and Environment.
About You This is a challenging role that requires proven operational experience, preferably in the fuel or transport sector (10+ years).
To be successful you would have:· Seasoned with change and leading and transforming teams· Execution focused and able to work autonomously, with a high level of motivation· Focused on achieving targets and comfortable with high levels of complexity and ambiguity· Able to manage a range of responsibilities and projects, with excellent time management· A strong communicator with exceptional stakeholder management skills· Adept at problem solving, analysis and negotiation· Certifications in project management, lean management or similar.· Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or similar.· Proven leadership experience and skills Our preferred candidate would be situated in Tauranga, however we are open to receiving applications from other regions in New Zealand Applications will only be accepted via Seek.
