PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVESThe Digital Supply Chain Practice of SAP Australia & New Zealand is looking for a Principal Supply Chain Management Consultant (Architect) with in-depth end-to-end process knowledge and related SAP solutions like S/4 HANA Manufacturing for Planning & Scheduling, Digital Manufacturing and/or SAP Integrated Business Planning to join our diverse team of highly performing professionals.
You will need to be able to work individually and as part of a team to define the best use of the overall applications and processes specific to the SAP MP&S, DM and/or IBP solutions for the customer.
In addition, with your vast experience across industries, you will support presales activities, develop and advise on end-to-end solution design, help/guide our colleagues/partners to implement the system and be the point of contact to answer questions with regard to architecture and deployment options.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKSAs a Principal Business Process Consultant / Architect, you will have an excellent understanding of the overall SAP MP&S, DM and/or IBP solutions and how they should be implemented in conjunction with other solution components of the S/4 HANA Suite or SAP Cloud products.
You have an in-depth understanding of the integration between different technology platforms and their related architecture is a must.
The principal business process consultant / architect facilitates the design, implementation, deployment with the aim to enhance the client's business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
In addition, you will partner with the client and possibly with 3rd parties to analyse and define business requirements, technology, processes, and objectives to scope project deliverables for the same but having the overall architecture in mind.
You will work alongside the account teams in the software evaluation process, to develop SAP-centric solution scenarios and needed architecture, prepare implementation plans and define outcomes that lead to overall customer success.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Proven professional experience working as a principal consultant / architect.
Expert knowledge (15+ years) in SAP MP&S and across newer cloud solutions such as DM and/or IBP (5+ years), ideally covering at least 10+ full implementation life cycles.
Proven experience in projects that have included SAP MP&S, DM and/or IBP associated processes/scenarios like: Discrete, Process, Project, or Repetitive Manufacturing Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order other strategies.
Optimisation in PPDSMRP Live DM with execution, resource management, insights, connectivity, production operator dashboard, etc.
IBP with DP, S&OP, Supply Planning, DDMRP, etc.
Clear understanding and hands-on integration experience across other processes and solutions such as SD, MM, QM and FI/CO.
Can conduct S/4 HANA MP&S, DM and/or IBP centric workshops with all contributing parties.
Understands the business drivers and outcomes of production/manufacturing solutions in different industries, such as consumer products, mining, utilities, pharmaceutical, etc.
Knowledge of SAP’s Model Company approach, industry trends in Supply Chain Management process and best practices (where applicable).
Technical and development skills a plus.
Clear understanding of functional integration aspects with other SAP modules and solutions.
Experience in end-to-end Business Process Solution Design.
Experience leading customer project members as an SAP project manager (PMI, Six Sigma Black belt, or equivalent certification).
Ability to represent SAP to customers delivering on high volume and high-risk projects.
Able to coach and mentor junior colleagues.
Excellent communication skills with technical and business focus.
