We are looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer to expand our existing team.
About the role: As the Chief Technology Officer, you are a key member of the senior leadership team and responsible for providing strategic leadership, oversight and management of our technology functions bringing development and services closer together through technology, achieving quality solutions and speed to market.
You will be responsible for: Oversight of technology-related decisions, setting Comrad's technology strategy, and championing innovative solutions aligned with the industry and market.
Leading and mentoring our development, operations, security, and technical teams, fostering collaboration and customer-centric thinking.
Implementation, and overseeing technologies that enhance Comrad's product portfolio, services, infrastructure ensuring stability, scalability and operational efficiency.
Developing and maintaining security policies, leading security audits, mitigating risks, and promoting a culture of security awareness.
Ensuring smooth internal ICT operations, managing software licensing and compliance, and overseeing relationships with vendors, customers, and partners.
Setting and managing the technology budget while providing regular updates and communicating progress to the business.
About you: Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Computer Science or Software Engineering Management experience (8 years+) preferably in a health-related industry Experience in interpretation of client needs and development of solutions, preferably with mission critical and high availability systems Experience in software products for the healthcare sector (5 years+) with experience using Java, J2 EE, cloud, application servers, web, and databases (15+ years)Knowledge and experience of leading development methodologies and designing enterprise and system architecture Able to assess and provide guidance to problem solving in complex systems Strategic planning, gathering and communicating business requirements and functionality to all stakeholders Radiology Information Solution (RIS) or PACS experience (preferable)We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, including those currently working with competitors, within the broader radiology, or within the customer base.
